Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke by Will Wright

Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke by Will Wright

There are quite a few Nike Air Force 1 Bespokes with either croc leather and/or Kaws-style ‘X’ stitching, but the beauty of bespokes is that this new pair looks nothing like the others.Another Bespoke has hit the scene and this time is is courtesy of Will Wright. Oddly enough, he never wore them.

Using a crocodile like pattern for  the upper, the pattern is bathed in a deep red color which is coordinated with the outsole and the stitching in the midsole. White cross stitching is used throughout the upper and compliments the white midsole and white laces. That’s thanks to the high contrast between a red/black lizard upper and the white stitches holding it together.  There’s also a double-layered denim Swoosh on the side panels and leather sockliners, but the dubraes might be the most interesting part of these.  ‘WILL’ and ‘WRIGHT’ on the right and left shoes, respectively, suggests these were made by someone who at least shares a name with the SimCity & Sims creator.  Whomever they were made for didn’t esteem them too highly, as they sold for $355 on eBay, less than half the retail cost for a Bespoke AF1.

‘Will’s’ loss is another lucky sneakerhead’s gain, and you can all enjoy more images by clicking the jump below. Will decided to go with denim for the tongue and Nike Swoosh which help to tie in the tan lining. Finally, a white patent leather patch sits at the heel of the sneaker.

Nike Air Force 1 Premium QS ‘Jones Beach’

Nike Air Force 1 Premium QS Jones Beach @ 21 Mercer

Nike Sportswear is releasing classic OG colorways more frequently these days, some at an almost annual rate.Last year, a super-limited canvas colorway of the Air Force 1 called the Jones Beach model, and it was gone almost instantly.

This year’s quick strike canvas model is actually a re-release, which is not common for Air Force 1s, yet it will certainly be a hit again with sneaker fans, as it’s a slick colorway with a translucent sole that shows a map of Jones Beach. Sneaker Bistro is holding a blow-out release party for this model this Saturday, but that won’t be the only place to scoop these up.We’re glad we can cop crispy pairs of our favorites from days gone by, but this re-release is a bit of a surprise.  The Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium QS ‘Jones Beach’  originally released last June as one of few canvas AF1s for the entire year.  Twelve months later, and the’re back, ready for a special event at Patchogue, NY’s Sneaker Bistro, and a few other select shops in the NYC area.

Among them will be NSW’s 21 Mercer flagship, so if you can’t make it out to the Mayor-hosted party on Friday, June 5th, be sure to head over to 21 Mercer and grab a pair before they’re gone.Nike Sportswear’s 21 Mercer St. store in Manhattan is also getting this model tomorrow, June 5th, so get ready to be there early if you need these icy-soled  gems in your life.

Nike Zoom Kobe V (5) – Big Stage Edition

Nike Zoom Kobe V (5) Big Stage Edition

A lot of attention went toward the Nike LeBron VII P.S., but turns out it was much ado abou…well, nothing, really. LeBron James fell short of the NBA Finals once again but his West-Coast counterpart Kobe Bryant managed to give his Lakers team a third-straight NBA Finals appearance. As we’re sure many of you predicted, Kobe Bryant showed up for Game 1 of the NBA Finals equipped with a shiny new Finals colorway of the Zoom Kobe V.

Dubbed the ‘Big Stage‘ edition, the white/metallic gold shoe received a mostly warm reception and left us to wonder if we would be seeing an away version when the Lakers take the court in Boston. Tonight, Kobe is in fact debuting the away version of the Big Stage ZKV, complete with the same color blocking, gold accents and tonal graphics seen on the home colorway, but this time sporting a black upper. The only postseason colorway of his Nike Zoom Kobe V was the Kobe V POP, but for the Finals, Nike had something special in mind. Check out these new detailed images of the Nike Zoom Kobe V Big Stage Edition; The upper features a graphic that details Kobe’s fruits of the season, like reaching 25,970 points for his career (most by any Laker) and earning a 12th trip to the NBA All-Star Game. Kobe Bryant was born for the Big Stage and tonight, he begins his quest for a fifth overall championship while wearing the Big Stage Kobe V.

There’s also a new commercial devoted to Kobe’s quest for a 5th ring so continue reading for detailed pics of the shoes and for the new vid. It’s yet to be seen if the new kicks will be a lucky charm for Kobe and company on the road, but for now, you can take a closer look after the jump, and stay tuned tomorrow for in-game shots of the Black Mamba’s new playoff shoe.

Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Low – Navy – White – Red

Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Low Navy White Red
While we are taking an extensive look at these All Star Game Air Force 1′s its only right that we take a moment to give the ladies a little love. After all its kinda understood that those are for men anyway.Nike didn’t make any All Star edition Air Force 1s specifically for women, but here’s a patent leather consolation.

This Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Low has a sort of un-Pigeon look about it, but it’s a deep navy blue instead of the familiar greys.  Still a dope look tho, and another good example of how to throw red, white and blue onto a sneaker without having it come out patrio-cheesy.Here we see a nice simple color way for the ladies in this blue/red-white color way. The upper is done in navy with a patent leather toebox, lace plate and heel tab. The accenting red can be found on the outsole and tongue while white holds down the swoosh and midsole.

Definitely worth looking into if you are feeling any shoe envy as a lady seeing all these dope AF1′s.We wouldn’t knock dudes for rocking these, and DC’s Major has the womens-size run right now.

Nike Air Zoom Toki ND – Black – Volt

Nike Air Zoom Toki ND Black Volt Available @ 21 Mercer
Sneakers seem to be popping up in Asia earlier and earlier these days, relative to their stateside official releases.  Case in point: this latest Nike Air Zoom Toki.Hitting stores this week, including NSW’s flagship 21 Mercer store in NYC, is a new colorway of a familiar shoe: the Nike Air Zoom Toki ND Black/Volt.

The shoe sports an all black upper, white midsole and eyelets, and a volt on a line circling the midsole and on the script on the tongue. We got some good looks at it last week when Korean e-tailer Kasina released them, but we’d wager most of you don’t know the conversion from dollars to won.  Good news, then, to see these Tokis popping up in the likeliest of spots, Nike Sportswear in New York.

If you’re in the area, 21 Mercer’s has these in-store.Look for these at limited Nike Sportswear accounts this week.

Nike Air Max Cradle Rock Pro – White – Varsity Royal – Black

Nike Air Max Cradle Rock Pro White Varsity Royal Black
The Nike Cradle Rock Low was Steve Nash’s signature shoe last year, the successor to the Zoom BB series he’d worn in the middle part of the previous decade.Over the past few years there has been a lot of changes to the world of basketball sneakers. Of course all of the new technologies that have been a part of the Nike Hyper line have had a lot to do with these changes.

but there are other things that have changed as well in recent years. One of those things is that there has been an increase in the low top basketball sneaker, something that people have been able to slowly start accepting. Today we are going to look at the latest low Nike basketball shoe, this is the Nike Air Max Cradle Rock Pro in a white, varsity royal and black colorway. And both because we’ve seen a Tyreke Evans PE and because you’d have to go back a good ways to see Nash rocking anything with Max Air cushioning, the Nike Air Max Cradle Rock Pro is both familiar and unsettling.  This first white/black/blue colorway would be better suited for another Nike Basketball star like, say, Rashard Lewis, so keep an eye on our NBA Feet column to see what 2-time MVP Nash will wear in the upcoming season.

The colorway featured on this shoe is pretty standard but it comes out looking very nice anyways. Steve Nash has been known to wear this shoe so let’s see how far this one will go.As for the Air Max Cradle Rock, we have more photos for you to inspect after the jump, and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for updates.

Nike Trainer SC 2010 – Bo Jackson – Team Red

Nike Trainer SC 2010 Bo Jackson Team Red Sample

Dual-sport athlete Bo Jackson is synonymous with Nike Training  (i.e. the Bo Jackson Sports Complex out in Beaverton) as his name is given designation to the Nike Cross Trainer releases of the late 80’s-early 90’s. Earlier this year we were lucky to receive a pair of the Nike Trainer SC 2010 that paid tribute to Bo’s days on the diamond – the Nike Trainer SC 2010 ‘Baseball Glove’.Another Bo Jackson inspired Nike Trainer SC 2010 has surfaced in sample form. A Team Red makeup sees the retro inspired performance trainer dressed in team red suede, leather, and flywire.

The pair featured a brown leather upper with black trim that mimicked a baseball glove, the number ‘16′ (his Royals jersey number) on the right insole, and a special ‘Bo Knows’ graphic on the upper ankle. This sample pair in a rich red tone you see here points to his gridiron days, given by the ‘34′  printed on the right insole – and features the same ‘Bo Knows’ graphic in the same position – but the upper is constructed by a mix of suede and leather, opposed to the all-leather version of the Baseball Glove Edition.

Highlights include black leather branding, visible Air, and Bo Knows engraving on the ankle. While one would think we’ve seen the last of Trainer SC 2010 releases, is this a colorway you’d like to see drop? Let us know in the comment section. This Trainer SC 2010 Bo Jackson Legacy will likely see a release in the Holiday 2010 season but that is subject to change, so take a look at the detailed images after the jump and grab this like-new pair from dballaholic on eBay.
