Nike Zoom LBJ Ambassador II – Black

Nike Zoom LBJ Ambassador II Black Anthracite

Triple black Nike Zoom LBJ Ambassador II’s? Yes, emphatically so even! While these aren’t stateside it cant hurt at all to look and wish they were or even point that browser to a retailer that ships. It was kinda easy to dismiss the Nike Zoom LBJ Ambassador II since the Swoosh decided that only Asian buyers could cop these in their local sneaker stores.

The only way you’d miss these is in the dead of night, cos the mix of black and anthracite  commonly known as ‘triple black’ is smooth enough to take another look.  The tumbled leather upper should do well for outdoor courts, sustaining their shape and (lack of) colour.Mixed materials make these perfect for streetball and the technology involved sure doesn’t hurt either.

Anybody mad at Nike for not letting us get an easier shot at a pair of these. We’ll keep you posted with release updates.

Air Jordan XIX (19)

Air Jordan XIX (19) Look See Sample

In 2004, the Full Flex upper was introduced and was made to the specifications of MJ himself. This dynamic material allowed the shoe to be the most flexible and lightweight Air Jordan to date. Furthermore, the Full Flex or also known as Tech Flex is a material used in the automotive industry which stretches comfortably.Released the year after MJ’s third and final retirement, the Air Jordan XIX is probably best remembered at this point as being paired with the bred AJIVs in 2008’s 4/19 Countdown Pack.

This sample gives us a glimpse into what could have been a well-received release, had Michael and the Wizards succeeded in their last-ditch push toward the 2003 NBA Playoffs. The Air Jordan 19 incorporated a double stack Air sole unit called the Phylon midsole, plus full-length Zoom Air and carbon-fiber shank plate to complete the performance picture. Leather and nubuck are the main components of the shoe aside from the braided covering.

With the shoe’s complicated engineering, credits were awarded not only to a single individual but to a team composed of designers who at that time have the most futuristic ideas on sneaker style. The Association goes on without him, but we suspect LeBron is changing his number for the same reasons you’ll check out more photos after the jump.

Nike 1World Air Force 1 (One)

Nike 1World Air Force 1 (One) | Feride Uslu

The Nike 1World Project has been in full effect for the first few months of 2009. In case you didn’t know, it allows artists and musicians to design their own version of the classic Air Force One model. The pair shown here were design by Feride Uslu, a Berlin based artist. These are inspired by Uslu Airlines, which is known for a cosmetic grade airbrush system and high quality nail polish. The next artist to contribute to the Nike 1World Air Force 1  project is none other than Feride Uslu, a high profiled make-up artist that was born & raised in Berlin, Germany. Feride Uslu is known for working with companies such as GQ and Vogue where she using high-tech cosmetic airbrushes and high quality nail polishes on various models. Aside from her cosmetic duties she also owns & operates an airline which goes by the name Uslu Airlines.

The Feride Uslu x Air Force 1 (One) incorporates a unique theme inspired by the Uslu Airlines.  The sneaker is covered in premium grey leather, and features an inner lining made of the same sheep materials used in airplane pilot seats. The tongue tags and tongue are neon green/yellow to  represent the signal colors of the aviation towers, and the security vests of airport employees. The laces are white/pink to represent the cords of a parachute and the velcro strap that’s label with ” Feride Uslu”  resembles the seat belts in airplanes.  To top it all off the Nike swoosh is made of 3M material. This time around, the Air Force One Mid is the model of choice, as the low version seems to be more popular. They feature a grey upper constructed from leather along with perforations on the toebox. The green logo on the tag and yellow tongue are reminiscent of signal colors seen on the towers at the airport where the airline does business.

The white and pink laces are modeled after parachute cords while the strap is modeled after the seat belts on the plane. Highlighting the shoes is the sheep-like material on the inner lining, which is similar to what is seen on the pilots’ chairs in the cockpit.
